In Windows XP, when I selected full backup (right click C Drive; Properties; Back-Up) it started backing up to my external hard-drive (like I told it to), but then, it finished the C drive and is now backing up the contents of the external hard drive!
So my question is; if I press Cancel, what will happen?
Do I get to keep the files already backed up? Or does the backup file become corrupted?

it just stops backing up you wont loose anything just the back up
yea, the files that are already backed up wont be eraced
...
it will get cancelled
