Is there a way to backup your iPod touch iMob online data for a restore?

I am restoring my ipod to a new firmware, and I was just wondering if there was a way to backup all of my iMob online data in the game because I am very far into the game, and I would hate to loose it. An immediate response is appreciated. Thanks.

I can't be sure about online progress

the iPod touch backs up automatically everytime you sync and will even ask if you want to back up before you restore

I recently restored my iPod touch: music, videos, 131 apps all with game progress, accounts; all gone

after a full restore and syncing from the backup everything was back to normal so I'm not sure about game progress that is online but if you HAVE to restore then just back it up and hope for the best
