I am using for many months and is very good.
In my opinion the safest way is to backup your important data incrementally on regular basis using True Image by Acronis. An off-site storage is more preferable because neither crash nor virus attack can affect an image. As for backup location I think that the best one is external drive because it is more reliable and big than CD/DVD.

Just make sure you back up the INSTALL programs. I prefer flash drives to cds, as cds can more easily become unusable. Also, you might consider buying an external hard drive to replace your flash drive. You can back up tons more data.
copy your files and install files and serial numbers to a flash drive, if you don't know the serial number try keyfinder.
The safest way is to back it up on a flash drive or a CD. Or move the files to another computer and keep them there until needed.
